About LauraI had knee surgery at the age of 14. At this young age, I quickly realized how important correct form is to physical activity and how joint repair rehab takes time, patience, and the correct know how.
I became an Exercise Physiologist by obtaining two bachelor's degrees at Purdue University in Movement and Sports Science and also Psychology. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through American College of Sports Medicine. I then went on to specialize in other types of training. I am a Certified Sport Yoga Instructor and a Certified Spencer Pilates Instructor through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association. I am a Golf Conditioning Specialist, TRX Certified Trainer, FitStrike-Kickboxing/MMA Fitness Instructor, and JrFit-Youth Fitness Specialist. I LOVE working out!!! I run and train for marathons and triathlons throughout the year. I have competed in many races around the country. I enjoy rock climbing and any activity on the water. EVERYONE is capable of achieving their personal goals no matter what their starting physical ability. It doesn’t matter if you have had previous injuries and surgeries or start the process 50 lbs overweight. Anything is possible to achieve with hard work and the right path. I believe people should do what they enjoy and better themselves throughout the process. Laura Flick, EP, CPT |
